After the placement of the intragastric balloon, we recommend that you take 2-3 days off. After that, you can go back to work and your daily routine.
How many days off do I need after the gastric balloon removal?
You do not get any symptoms after the removal of the intragastric balloon. Since you receive sedation for the balloon removal procedures, you can’t work or drive the same day. The next day after your gastric balloon removal, you can go back to work.
