Sarah Moffett N.P.

Sarah Moffett is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of experience in providing high-quality patient care.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University in 2011. As a nurse, Sarah worked in a variety of different settings including med-surg, progressive care, and endoscopy where she held several clinical leadership roles. While working as an endoscopy nurse, Sarah knew she wanted to expand her knowledge and broaden her role in the direct care of her patients, prompting her to pursue her Master’s degree.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Wilmington University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2017. Sarah is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Since she graduated as a nurse practitioner, Sarah has been working in gastroenterology. She has experience both in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

She is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients by providing personalized and evidence-based care. She has a special interest in obesity and weight management and she works with the rest of the team to help patients achieve their weight loss goals.

In addition to clinical practice, Sarah is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Gastroenterology and Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers, and Sigma Theta Tau – international honor society of nurses. She regularly attends continuing education workshops and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical care and technology.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys hiking, going to the beach, watching football, and of course- spending time with her husband, two young daughters, and little beagle.
